Flying high

I thought I would check out what the Daily heroic was today, and finally it was Sethekk Halls. I have had the final part of the druid epic flight form quest to do for ages, but always struggled with finding a group. But today was my day it seemed, we kicked Anzu's butt. No flashy loot for me, but who cares when you can turn into a super cool Eagle.

We did die twice trying to kill Talon King Ikiss but we thrashed him on the third attempt. But im just so pleased to finally get swift flight form.

One minor disappointment however was discovering that the Charm of Swift Flight no longer increases flight speed by 10%, so all that time I had it sitting in the bank for nothing.

Playing around work

After seeing lots of great blogs out there I thought I would give it a try. I have been playing WoW for a while now, mainly as a casual player. Im not a raider (yet) and due to working shifts I can't commit to a regular timetable, so its mostly been jumping into the odd pick up group and making lots of cash. I do love the auction house and making money for all those goodies. No guild yet but with Lich king out soon its something im thinking about.

I started playing with a shaman which i enjoyed a lot, then I got overly jealous of all those druids running around in there cool forms. The first time I saw a druid in kitty form I knew I had to have one and rerolled straight away. At the time I was playing with a few friends (who have since drifted away from wow) and having a great time healing the group. So speccing druid meant I could still fulfill that role, and still dps or tank if I wanted too.

Unfortunately those friends drifted off around the time we hit lvl 55 and I played solo till 70 as a kitty so lost touch with the healing side of things and haven't really tried healing groups since. I think once Wotlk arrives and everyone is back on level ground Im going to go Resto at 80. I always loved playing the healer in other games, and the tree form is so cute to look at too.
